Jawaharlal Nehru memory fund invites Ph.D. students. The students who are joining the Ph.D. course can apply for this scholarship. The scholarship will be given to the students who are studying in India and the following two categories of students are eligible.
Indian nationals and nationals of other Asian countries the above two categories of students are eligible for this JNMF scholarship 2024. Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial fund is given to some of the subjects/specializations who are doing Ph.D. in those subjects will get JNMF.
The duration period is two years and every month they will get a scholarship of 18000 rupees per month. Including maintenance allowance and tuition fee and another fund is for purchasing books stationery and study tours and purchasing any equipment regarding the project they will give an amount of 15000 rupees per annum.
Eligibility for Subject/Specialization to JNMF Scholarship 2024:
Here we are providing some eligibility for applying for the JNMF scholarship 2024. The candidates who are doing Ph.D. in any one of the following subjects are eligible
- Indian history and civilization
- Sociology
- Comparative studies in religion and culture
- Economics
- Geography
- Philosophy
- Ecology and environment
The students who are taking the above any one of the subjects are eligible for a JNMF scholarship and students have to apply for only one subject.
eligibility conditions to apply for the JNMF scholarship 2024:
Here we are providing some eligibility for applying for the JNMF scholarship 2024. The candidates who are doing Ph.D. in any one of the following subjects are eligible. below are some eligibility conditions for the JNMF scholarship application.
Students have to complete the graduation course and post-graduation course with a minimum aggregate of 60% of marks or first class and the students have to be completed the graduation course and post-graduation course regularly or full-time course with an age limit of not be more than 35 years old. The candidates who are applying have to do Ph.D. courses on a full-time or regular basis are eligible for this scholarship. Please make it a note or remember who are already doing a Ph.D. course or who have already been admitted candidates are not eligible for the JNMF scholarship 2024.
Selection procedure for Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund scholarship 2024:
The selection procedure for JNMF scholarships will be based on their merit background.
- From all the applicants they will check the marks whatever you have secured.
- From all those merit candidates will be selected and will be shortlisted.
- For selected candidates, they will pay tuition fees and complete allowances like purchasing books they will pay the amount and the duration period is 2 years.
- Complete 2 years they will sponsor for their education.
From all the applicants they will shortlist some of the candidates for this scholarship and the selected candidates will get the JNMF scholarship. The whole JNMF scholarship 2024 will be eligible for two years.

If you discontinued without any prior information the candidates will be disqualified and will not be eligible for any other scholarship and the payable amount to be refundable and they have to pay the total amount up to that amount of whatever they had paid for you. A passport size photograph of the applicant to be pasted on the form, synopsis of the proposed project as per the attached format, Doctoral Monitoring Committee’s report or Supervisor’s report/recommendations, Postal Order/Demand Draft for Rs.100, Ph.D. registration certificate.
What is the selection process for JNMF Scholarship 2024?
The Selection Committee’s decision to call a candidate for an interview or select a candidate for the scholarship will be final and no representation in this regard will be entertained.
What are the benefits of applying for the JNMF Scholarship 2024?
Selected Students get a maintenance allowance including a tuition fee of INR 18,000 per month, Contingent expenses for study tours within India, purchase of books, stationery, etc. of INR 15,000 per annum.

What is the last date to apply for JNMF Scholarship 2024?
The completed application form together with all the necessary enclosures should reach Administrative Secretary, Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund, Teen Murti House, New Delhi-110011 on or before 31 May. The candidates are advised to send their applications as soon as possible. The Fund will not be responsible for any postal delays in reaching the application by the due date.
